I was skyping with two of my closest pals a little while ago and I was telling them about how my residence in Germany has made me want to invest in a bicycle at home so that I wont have to drive my car everywhere.

They simply responded with the fact that the crime rate is not the same in Germany and the United States, and that they give me a week upon my arrival home to change my mind.

…maybe I’ll take a self defense class…or get a moped instead.
